Canahari Periodical

Our goal is to impact young people and advance multiculturalism in Saskatchewan by supporting and encouraging children in Saskatchewan to share, learn, appreciate, respect and accept cultural diversity. We also wish to impact young people with a rich understanding of Canadian history through art and educational training by various Cultural and ethnic groups in Saskatchewan. Canahari program Launch will be held on November 18th, 2017 at the George Bothwell, Regina Public Library, Room.

    About the Periodical

Each year, children, youths and young adults, are given an opportunity to showcase their artworks through the online Canahari Periodical (CAP) program. There artwork will be evaluated and two unique artworks will be awarded. CAP will be published every year in September and each year, various themes will be presented.

We strongly believe that CAP will benefit children and adolescents by increasing their scope of thinking and cultural awareness. CAP teaches children and youth to learn diverse cultures and arts in Regina. That is why CAP is a very relevant program in Saskatchewan, and Canada.

The Department of Canadian Heritage on 24th of October 2017 announced funding for the Canahari Periodical (CAP).
